This page explains how booking links and commercial relationships are presented on the site.

Ordinary links and paid relationships

A link to a hotel, attraction or ticket operator may simply help you find the current information or make a booking. Mentioning a business does not mean it pays Marvelous City Rio.

If a link can earn the publication a commission when you book or buy, the recommendation will include a clear explanation near that link. Sponsored content or another paid placement will be identified as such. This page is background information; it is not a substitute for a disclosure beside a commercial recommendation.

The guides refreshed in September 2026 use ordinary operator and information links. They do not present unconfirmed affiliate partnerships as active.

Compare the actual offer

Check the total price, dates, room or ticket category, cancellation rules and inclusions with the seller. Different websites and rate plans can offer different terms. A commission relationship does not establish that every booking channel has the same price or that a linked offer is the lowest available.

Your booking agreement and payment are with the seller identified in the checkout process. Contact that business for reservation changes, refunds or service questions.

Editorial standards

Recommendations explain the traveler an option suits and the tradeoffs involved. A commercial relationship must not be presented as firsthand experience, and a hotel’s inclusion does not mean every facility or room has been personally inspected.
